research interests (stem cell / neuron differentiation /microrna/cancer)
my research interest lies in understanding the significance of post-transcriptional rna-based processes for stem cell differentiation (particularly in neuron differentiation), microrna regulation and cancer development. gene expression in eukaryotes is subject to extensive regulation at posttranscriptional levels. one of the most important sites of control involves mrna 3′ untranslated regions (

establishment of symbiosis between certain host plants and nitrogen-fixing bacteria depends on type 3 secretion system (t3ss) effectors. nopt is a novel t3ss effector of rhizobium sp. strain ngr234. nopt possesses autoproteolytic activity. this functional protease activity leads to symbiosis-promoting on phaseolus vulgaris cv. yudou no. 1; tephrosia vogelii while deleterious effects upon crotalaria juncea.
